Callum is an 18 year old musician who specialises in caring for the bottom end of your music. Playing both electric and double bass, and having some experience with synth basses, he has no trouble providing whatever low tones are necessary for the music at hand.

Although he plays many styles and genres, he first discovered a love for improvised music early on in his time at high school. Through playing with his friends that shared this passion (some of whom would go on to create The Fisher Ave Street Band with him), he began to develop a love for jazz, and decided to pursue it to a further level at ARA Music Arts this year.

In his own compositions, Callum blends influences from Jazz, Hip-hop, Funk, and some Metal and Folk. He produces songs that have equal emphasis on arrangement and improvisation, so they stand alone as songs but every performance is different.

He is currently playing as the bassist in The Fisher Ave Street Band, a Jazz influenced groove band who specialise in improvised live performances. They are looking to release some of their original material later this year, and have played at venues such as the Wunderbar.
